Privacy Policy.
Scalovate LLC ("Scalovate," "we," "us," or "our") operates scalovate.io and provides marketing systems — SEO, paid media, creative production, and landing pages — for local businesses and service brands. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the rights you have over it.
We wrote this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email info@scalovate.io and we'll explain.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of scalovate.io, clients who engage Scalovate for services, and anyone interacting with our Meta Business app (ads-bot) used to administer advertising accounts owned by Scalovate and our clients.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details when you book a call, email us, or fill in a form — name, business name, email, phone number.
- Client onboarding information — brand assets, goals, target audience, ad account access, and any materials you share so we can deliver services.
- Payment details — processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
Information we collect automatically
- Basic analytics — pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location (city/region), referring URL. Used to understand what content helps visitors and improve the site.
- Log data — IP address, timestamps, and request data from our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and reliability.
Information from third parties
- Advertising platforms — when a client authorizes us to manage their ad accounts on platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, we receive campaign data, performance metrics, and ad account metadata via those platforms' APIs.
3. How we use information
- Deliver the services our clients hire us for.
- Administer advertising campaigns on client-owned ad accounts, including creating, updating, pausing, and analyzing ads.
- Communicate with you about projects, questions, and service updates.
- Improve our website, products, and internal systems.
- Meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising targeting outside the scope of services you've engaged us to provide.
4. How we share information
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business — hosting (Vercel), email, payment processing, and analytics. These providers are bound by contracts that limit how they use the data.
- Advertising platforms (Meta, Google, etc.) when we administer ad accounts on behalf of clients, as directed by the client.
- Legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
5. Meta platform data
Our Meta Business app, ads-bot, is used exclusively to administer ad accounts owned by Scalovate and by clients who have granted us access. The app reads and writes advertising data (campaigns, ad sets, creatives, performance metrics) through Meta's Marketing API. It does not collect personal information about end users who view or interact with ads, beyond the aggregated performance data Meta itself provides.
Data obtained through Meta's platform is retained only as long as needed to deliver the service, and is handled in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. When a client engagement ends, we retain records for a reasonable period (typically up to 24 months) for tax, accounting, and audit purposes, then delete or anonymize the data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights — including deletion of data collected via our Meta app — email info@scalovate.io. We'll respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
scalovate.io uses minimal cookies and local storage for essential functions (session state, client portal authentication) and for basic, privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on scalovate.io. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may stop working as a result.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information — HTTPS on all pages, access controls on client data, encrypted storage with our hosting providers, and strict limits on who inside Scalovate can access what. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the obligation seriously.
10. Children's privacy
scalovate.io and our services are not directed to anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child's data has been provided to us, we will delete it.
11. International users
Scalovate is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the US. By using our services, you consent to that transfer.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify clients directly. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
